Full Job Description

Phoenix-based Modly is adding a Video Editor/Motion Designer to the team. We’re a group of fun creatives who love what we do and how we do it!

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Work closely with our graphic designer, copywriter, project manager, account executives and creative director to meet the video objectives of a diverse set of clients, ranging from entertainment and hospitality to transportation and energy
  • Maintain video brand standards while pushing the boundaries of creative thinking
  • Produce the highest quality video across media ranging from broadcast and web video to social media, digital ads, and more
  • Be a team player with the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment
  • Supports the creative team by producing a wide variety of video content and motion design for broadcast & web campaigns.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Shooting and editing video for broadcast and web
  • Motion design for broadcast, web, and large format digital signage
  • Handle multiple, fast-paced projects and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Absorb and apply feedback from peers and clients
  • Ensure quality control measures are met prior to the release of projects

Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • 5+ years relevant work experience
  • Proficient in Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Ability to operate a video camera and have strong lighting and sound recording abilities
  • Understand color correction and sound design
  • Strong animation fundamentals and skills
  • Working knowledge of Cinema 4D, VFX, or character rigging and animation in After Effects is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate on video storyboards and script development
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Close attention to detail
  • Work well under pressure
